Tara Hempstead is a multimedia storyteller, translating the world around her through writing, illustration, and playing violin. Her passions include birding and traveling, often at the same time. (Shortly after this photo was taken, she befriended a wild turkey.)
Currently residing in Los Angeles, Tara has exhibited her stories at Zine Festivals across California, including the San Francisco Zine Fest, San Diego Zine Fest, and San Fernando Valley Zine Fest!
